PR4: Creative Workshop on Digital and Inclusive Furniture Language Learning – Enhancing Creative Abilities in Education

In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, embracing innovation and inclusivity is paramount. The FURNICERT project’s initiative aims to revolutionize language learning by harnessing the power of digital tools, design thinking, and creative problem-solving. This comprehensive set of tools will be designed to empower language teachers and trainers to adapt to the ever-changing demands of modern education while ensuring inclusivity. In this article, we delve into the specifics of PR4 and explore how it will benefit educators and the furniture sector alike.

The PR4 component of the FURNICERT project is a groundbreaking initiative that focuses on creating a comprehensive set of tools for language teachers and trainers. The primary goal is to support digital, distance, and inclusive learning through innovative methods such as design thinking and creative problem-solving. The project’s overarching objective is to teach people vocational languages for the furniture sector through an e-learning tool and to develop new competencies in furniture in English. Thus, this initiative actively involves these target groups to ensure its success.

To this aim, partners will organise several workshops at the national level gathering both teachers and workers. On the one hand, language teachers will explore innovative methods for teaching language, with a strong emphasis on creativity and inclusivity. On the other hand, workers will be equipped with essential language skills, thereby bridging the communication gap between the furniture industry and language educators.

These workshops represent the pilot phases of the FURNICERT project and serve as the initial testing ground for the project’s ambitious goals. CETEM is the leading organisation of this project outcome, ensuring that all deadlines and objectives are met. More information will be available soon.
