The project aims to teach English to professionals in the furniture sector (managers and employees). The results of the project will be collected in a tailor-made e-learning platform to support learning.
What is an Erasmus+ project?
Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
It has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion. This is nearly double the funding compared to its predecessor programme (2014-2020).
The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.
It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also supports the European Pillar of Social Rights, implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, and develops the European dimension in sport.

FURNICERT has been funded under the key Action 2: cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices, of the Erasmus+ programme in the field of Vocational Education and Training.
The project will improve the level of key competencies, skills and teaching of languages as well as promote the EU’s linguistic diversity. FURNICERT will contribute to the improvement of competencies relevant to the specific labour market and increase opportunities for learning and worker mobility. In addition, the project’s development and design incorporate green practices in all project activities and at all stages.
